Spice House Inn History

There is an interesting history of the Inn. Initially, the land was the property of the last king of the Buleleng Kingdom, Anak Agung Panji Tisna, and the building was owned by his grandson, Anak Agung Ngurah Jhon.  This was Puri Manggala, the first restaurant, and bar in Lovina. Subsequently, tourism increased in Lovina and a visitor bought the restaurant and built an apartment house there named “Jhon House”. Learn more at The Little Museum of Anak Agung Panji Tisna, located next to the Inn.  Jhon House was fully renovated in 2017 and renamed “Spice House Inn”.

Space

Spice House Inn has two apartments, each with a private entrance. The Kayumanis (Cinnamon) Suite is the upper-floor apartment and The Kapulaga Suite is the down-floor apartment. The beautiful modern-style apartment sits right next to the pristine sands of a picture-perfect beach dotted with palm trees.

The Kapulaga Suite features a lovely dining set and a terrace area with a gazebo overlooking the sea. The interiors feature a smart TV, sound system, Wi-Fi, and a wine fridge. There’s even a fully equipped kitchen where you can make creations of meals. The spacious living room gives you a space to gather with family or friends. Guests also will receive a complimentary welcome dinner on arrival and breakfast on the next day when you book for 7 days or more. Your reservation includes housekeeping, a chef, security, and a manager who will indulge you with a five-star service.

The three beautiful bedrooms in the Kapulaga Suite can accommodate up to six guests. All of the bedrooms include en-suite bathrooms, a wardrobe, and an air conditioner. • The guests can access the whole property and all amenities since its totally private.

Interaction with guests

• The villa has a staff with a butler service who will work as a housemaid to do the daily cleaning and change linen and towels. She is also good at cooking service. She can cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner for your wish without any additional cost. The only thing you need to pay for is the ingredients.
• The villa also has a gardener/pool guy who will make sure the pool and garden are clean and beautiful. So you’ll enjoy deep swimming surrounded by a well-organizing garden.
• At our villa, we do have a guest relations service that can help you arrange tours, diving, snorkeling, and many things to explore Bali island. This service is available for you so everything can be arranged nicely and easily.
